Tests Details :
MRI Peripheral Venogram (MR Venography) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to visualize the venous system in the peripheral regions of the body, particularly the arms and legs. It provides detailed images of veins and helps assess blood flow and venous drainage.
This test is highly effective in detecting conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous blockages, narrowing, and other abnormalities affecting veins. It is especially useful when ultrasound findings are inconclusive or when a more detailed evaluation is required.
MRI venography offers excellent soft tissue contrast without the use of ionizing radiation, making it a safe and reliable method for diagnosing and monitoring venous disorders.
This test is recommended for individuals with:
- Limb swelling or pain
- Suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Unexplained leg discomfort
- Poor venous circulation
- Varicose veins or venous disorders
- Inconclusive ultrasound findings
- Risk factors for blood clots
Available Exclusively at these Prima Diagnostics Centres: Jayanagar, Whitefield, and Yelahanka
