MRI – Lumbo-Sacral Spine is an advanced imaging procedure that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the lower portion of the spine, including the lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, intervertebral discs, spinal cord, nerve roots, and surrounding soft tissues.

This scan is highly effective in diagnosing conditions such as disc herniation (slipped disc), spinal stenosis, nerve compression (sciatica), degenerative disc disease, infections, inflammation, tumors, and trauma. It is commonly recommended for patients experiencing lower back pain, radiating leg pain, numbness, or weakness.

MRI provides superior soft tissue contrast, allowing early detection of abnormalities that may not be visible on X-rays or CT scans. It also helps in treatment planning, surgical evaluation, and monitoring of spinal conditions. The procedure is safe, painless, and does not involve radiation.
