CT – Hip Joints is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses computed tomography (CT) to obtain high-resolution cross-sectional images of both hip joints. This includes the femoral heads, acetabulum (hip socket), surrounding bones, and joint spaces.

The scan provides detailed visualization of bone structures and joint alignment, making it particularly useful in detecting fractures, dislocations, degenerative changes such as arthritis, and other abnormalities. In some cases, contrast dye may be used to evaluate soft tissues or suspected lesions.

CT Hip Joints is commonly used in cases of trauma, persistent hip pain, limited movement, suspected fractures, or pre- and post-surgical evaluation. It offers greater detail than standard X-rays and plays an important role in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
