The SS-A/Ro Antibody test is a blood test used to detect autoantibodies directed against Ro (SS-A) antigens. These antibodies are commonly associated with autoimmune diseases, particularly Sjögren’s syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
The presence of SS-A/Ro antibodies can help in diagnosing autoimmune conditions and is often used along with other antibody tests such as SS-B/La, ANA, and anti-dsDNA for a comprehensive evaluation.
