Oxalate, Random Urine

The Random Urine Oxalate test is used to measure the concentration of oxalate in a single urine sample. Oxalate is a naturally occurring substance found in certain foods and produced by the body. High levels of oxalate can combine with calcium to form kidney stones.

This test provides a quick assessment of oxalate levels and is often used as an initial screening tool for individuals at risk of kidney stones or metabolic disorders affecting oxalate metabolism.
