The Endomysial Antibody (IgA) Test is a diagnostic blood test that detects IgA antibodies directed against endomysium, a component of connective tissue. These antibodies are strongly associated with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder triggered by gluten.

This test is highly specific for celiac disease and is often used to confirm diagnosis, especially after a positive screening test such as tissue transglutaminase (tTG-IgA). It helps assess immune response to gluten and supports accurate diagnosis.

The purpose of the test is to:
