Tests Prepration :

Consult your doctor. This test preparation usually involves fasting (no food or drink) for 6–8 hours and scheduling the blood draw early in the morning (typically between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.) when levels are highest. Patients may be asked to stop taking certain medications, particularly steroids, 24-48 hours before the test.
