MRI – Abdomen Venography with Contrast is a specialized imaging procedure that focuses on detailed evaluation of the venous system in the abdominal region using contrast-enhanced MRI techniques. It provides high-resolution images of major abdominal veins such as the portal vein, hepatic veins, inferior vena cava (IVC), renal veins, and other vascular structures.

The use of contrast material (gadolinium-based) enhances visualization of blood flow and helps identify abnormalities such as venous thrombosis, blockages, narrowing, vascular malformations, and compression of veins. It is particularly useful in assessing liver-related vascular conditions, portal hypertension, and other circulatory disorders.
