USG – TWIN EARLY OB TVS (Transvaginal Sonography) is an advanced early pregnancy ultrasound performed using a specialized probe inserted gently into the vagina to obtain detailed images of the uterus and developing twin fetuses. This scan provides clearer visualization during the early weeks of pregnancy compared to abdominal ultrasound.

The test helps confirm twin pregnancy, assess fetal viability and heartbeat, estimate gestational age, evaluate gestational sacs, and monitor early fetal development. It is also useful in detecting complications such as ectopic pregnancy, bleeding, abnormal implantation, or early pregnancy loss.

The procedure is safe, minimally invasive, painless or mildly uncomfortable, and does not involve radiation exposure. It is commonly recommended during the first trimester for accurate early pregnancy assessment.
