USG – NECK is a non-invasive imaging examination that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce detailed images of the structures within the neck. The scan helps assess the thyroid gland, lymph nodes, salivary glands, soft tissues, blood vessels, and other neck structures.

This examination is commonly performed to investigate neck swelling, enlarged lymph nodes, thyroid enlargement, cysts, infections, abscesses, tumors, salivary gland disorders, or unexplained neck pain. It can help distinguish between solid and fluid-filled lesions and evaluate the size, shape, and characteristics of abnormal tissues.
