USG – FISTULA is a specialized ultrasound scan performed to assess abnormal connections or tracts (fistulas) that may develop between organs, tissues, or the skin surface. The examination uses high-frequency sound waves to visualize the fistula tract, surrounding soft tissues, fluid collections, inflammation, or abscesses.

This scan is commonly used for evaluating conditions such as perianal fistulas, post-surgical fistulas, infected sinus tracts, or soft tissue fistulous connections. Ultrasound imaging helps determine the size, depth, direction, and extent of the fistula and can assist in identifying associated complications such as infection or fluid accumulation.

The scan is non-invasive, radiation-free, and provides real-time imaging that supports diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical evaluation, and follow-up monitoring.
