MRI + CT Temporal Bones is a comprehensive imaging approach that combines the strengths of both CT and MRI to provide detailed evaluation of the temporal bones and inner ear structures. CT scanning offers excellent visualization of bony structures, helping detect fractures, bone erosion, and structural abnormalities. MRI, on the other hand, provides superior soft tissue detail, allowing assessment of nerves, inner ear structures, tumors, infections, and inflammatory conditions.
