MRI – Chest is an advanced imaging procedure that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the chest region, including the lungs, heart, mediastinum, blood vessels, chest wall, and surrounding soft tissues. It provides excellent soft tissue contrast and is particularly useful for evaluating structures that may not be clearly seen on X-rays or CT scans.

This scan is commonly used to diagnose tumors, infections, inflammation, vascular abnormalities, congenital conditions, and chest wall lesions. It is also helpful in assessing heart-related structures, pleural diseases, and soft tissue abnormalities of the thorax.

MRI – Chest is often recommended when more detailed imaging is required or when radiation exposure needs to be avoided. The procedure is safe, painless, and does not involve ionizing radiation, making it suitable for repeated imaging if necessary.
