Doppler – Arterial and Venous Doppler (1 Limb) is a specialized ultrasound examination that assesses blood circulation in both arteries and veins of one limb (either arm or leg). It uses Doppler technology to visualize blood flow, measure velocity, and detect abnormalities in vascular function.

This test is highly effective in diagnosing conditions such as arterial blockages, narrowing (stenosis), peripheral artery disease (PAD), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous insufficiency, and blood clots. It also helps evaluate circulation problems that may cause pain, swelling, numbness, or skin changes in the affected limb.

The scan provides real-time information about blood flow direction and speed, allowing accurate assessment of vascular health. It is commonly recommended for patients with suspected vascular disease, diabetes, varicose veins, or after trauma.
