CT – Knee Joint is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses computed tomography (CT) to obtain high-resolution cross-sectional images of the knee joint. This includes the femur (thigh bone), tibia (shin bone), patella (kneecap), joint spaces, and surrounding bony structures.

The scan provides excellent detail of bone anatomy and is particularly useful in detecting complex fractures, joint alignment issues, and degenerative changes such as osteoarthritis. In certain cases, contrast dye may be used to assess soft tissues or suspected lesions.

CT Knee Joint is commonly performed in cases of trauma, persistent knee pain, suspected fractures, joint deformities, or pre- and post-surgical evaluation. It offers more detailed bone imaging compared to standard X-rays and supports accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

The procedure is quick, non-invasive, and widely used in orthopedic and trauma assessment.
