It includes evaluation of the lungs, airways, mediastinum, and upper abdominal structures such as the liver, pancreas, spleen, and upper portions of the kidneys.

This scan is highly useful in diagnosing conditions such as lung infections, tumors, nodules, liver diseases, pancreatic disorders, and other abnormalities. It allows comprehensive assessment of both chest and upper abdominal regions in a single examination.
